Course Change (Add/Drop)
Students who are unsure about dropping a course should contact an in the Brescia School of Food and Nutritional Sciences to discuss options.
Important Dates (2024-25)
September 13: Last day to add first term (A or F) and full year courses.
December 2: Last day to drop a first term half course (A or F) or a full-year course without academic penalty.
January 14: Last day to add second term courses (B or G).
March 31: Last day to drop a second term half course (B or G) without academic penalty.

Dropping a Course
- Courses dropped before the ADD deadline are removed from a student's academic record. This can be done online through .
- Courses dropped between the ADD and the DROP deadlines are recorded as a WDN (withdrawn without academic penalty). This can be done online through .
- Courses dropped online through Student Centre after the DROP deadline are recorded as a failed attempt (F). Exceptions may be made if there are compelling medical or compassionate grounds that can be documented. Please contact fnsinfo@uwo.ca for more information.
- A student that is on academic probation must achieve an average of 60% with no failed courses.
- A failed course will prevent admission to an honors program in the following year and will reduce a student's chances of future admission to a professional school. Students with more than six failed courses are required to withdraw from the university for at least one year. Students are allowed to repeat a passed course once and a failed course twice
