Admission Requirements
Applicants to the MScFN thesis-based program must meet the admissions criteria of 澳门六合彩开奖预测’s School of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies and program requirements, as follows:
- Four-year (Honors) BSc in a Foods & Nutrition or Dietetics program (or an equivalent four-year degree*) from a recognized university.
- Undergraduate courses in both Research Methodology and Statistics
- Minimum undergraduate GPA of 78% on the last 10 Full Course Equivalent credits (the last two full-time years of undergraduate studies).
- Relevant work, volunteer, research experience.
- Demonstrated English language proficiency if English is not your first language. Acceptable tests are:
- IELTS minimum score of 7.5, with no individual score less than 6.5.
- TOEFL minimum score of 620 (paper-based), 105 (internet-based), 260 (computer-based).
- Duolingo minimum score of 140.
*Qualifying degree must focus on human foods and nutrition.
Additional Criteria
Applicants must meet selection criteria, which evaluate the individual’s readiness for advanced practice, ability to plan and conduct research and potential for leadership in the profession.
International Applicants
Internationally trained applicants are eligible to apply to the Master of Science in Foods & Nutrition (MScFN) thesis-based program if they have a Foods and Nutrition or related degree (such as dietetics, food science, applied human nutrition).
International applicants who meet the above criteria may require additional coursework, in addition to English language training if English is not their first language, prior to becoming eligible to apply to the MScFN thesis-based program.
