Call for Nominations: University Discipline Appeal Committee

The Board of Governors' Senior Policy and Operations Committee is accepting nominations from members of the University community for membership on the University Discipline Appeal Committee. Call for Nominations: 澳门六合彩开奖预测 Awards for Excellence in Teaching

澳门六合彩开奖预测’s Awards for Excellence in Teaching recognize outstanding contributions by faculty to the academic development of students. Up to six awards may be given out annually in the following three categories: the Edward G. Pleva Award for Excellence in Teaching, the Angela Armitt Award for Excellence in Teaching by Part-Time Faculty and the Marilyn Robinson Award for Excellence in Teaching. In addition, one award may be given annually in the 澳门六合彩开奖预测 Award for Innovations in Technology-Enhanced Teaching category.

Nominations for all awards must be submitted on or before January 15, 2025.

 Call for Nominations: Honorary Degrees

The Senate Honorary Degrees Committee will meet in November 2024 to select candidates for honorary degrees to be awarded at 澳门六合彩开奖预测’s Convocations scheduled in 2025.  To ensure that consideration is given to as many worthy candidates as possible, the Committee invites the submission of nominations from any member of the University community. 

We ask that those making submissions keep in mind the following:

In choosing recipients for this honour, the University is also guided by the principle that in honouring individuals for their contributions, the University is also honouring itself by its association with people of such special merit.

Consideration should be given to the alignment of a nominee’s accomplishments, activity and impact with the goals and aspirations included in 澳门六合彩开奖预测’s strategic plan.

Nomination forms may be downloaded from the Honorary Degrees webpage and submitted electronically to abryson4@uwo.ca for consideration by the Honorary Degrees Committee.
