M.Sc. Day and Report Information

M.Sc. Day is designed to celebrate and showcase the work done by the Masters of Science Student in a mini conference fashion. It is usually scheduled in late July or early August. This year (Summer 2024), each student is required to give a 10-minute presentation followed by 5-minutes of question period.

M.Sc. Day is a requirement of the project-based master's program for graduation. 

Important Dates Summer 2024

  • July 8 – Deadline to submit your project title and abstract (one paragraph) to your supervisor for proof reading and approval
  • July 15Supervisor's deadline to submit proofread and approved electronic project title and abstract to the Graduate Program Coordinator (pdang9@uwo.ca), in order to create the program
  • July 19 - Deadline to submit your project presentation slides to your supervisor for proof reading and approval
  • July 22 - Presentation booklets (Title + Abstracts & Presentation schedule) will be uploaded to the website for viewing by students and faculty in preparation for M.Sc. Day
  • July 26 M.Sc. Day
  • August 12 – Deadline to submit an electronic copy of your approved and completed report to the Graduate Program Coordinator (pdang9@uwo.ca). This is mandatory to all project-based M.Sc. students.
