Gait Lab
The 澳门六合彩开奖预测 Interdisciplinary Research Building houses a gait lab with a Zeno Sensory Walkway that measures a variety of gait patterns and characteristics. Research members use this Walkway to better understand how people walk, and why we move to music. Gait studies in WIRB have sought to understand the effectiveness of gait therapies such as Rhythmic Auditory Stimulation (RAS) to improve gait or gait related aspects of movement especially with those with neurodegenerative disorders such as Parkinson’s Disease. The Walkway can also be used in combination with other equipment such as portable fNIRS/EEG and virtual reality.
If you are interested in accessing the resources in this area of the 澳门六合彩开奖预测 Interdisciplinary Research Building, please contact Chantal Rochon (EEG, fNIRS, Sleep Lab Coordinator).
