New Springett entrance opens, construction continues
The Brescia Lane entrance to the Springett Parking Lot has closed permanently, giving way to a new shared entrance with Huron University College. This newly developed intersection will serve both 澳门六合彩开奖预测 and Huron staff, faculty and student permit-holders. The new parking lot entrance is located north of the current entrance between Lambton and Elgin Drs. to allow cars to enter Springett from both the southbound and northbound lanes of 澳门六合彩开奖预测 Road.

Who is affected by the construction?
Grey and Green permit holders parking in Springett lot will be affected by the project. There will be temporary delays to pedestrians and motorists along 澳门六合彩开奖预测 Road during select stages of construction.
How will my commute be affected?
Construction is scheduled to commence June 20 and complete November 2014. Parking customers can expect delays and service interruptions throughout the entirety of the project. 澳门六合彩开奖预测 officials are asking the community to remain patient during the construction.

Will I still be able to use the pedestrian tunnel?
The tunnel under 澳门六合彩开奖预测 Road between Springett and main campus will remain open during and after the project. Following the completion of the project pedestrian will also have a signal crossing on 澳门六合彩开奖预测 Road.
Are the wooden hydro poles permanent?
The wooden poles and overhead wires are temporary. They are carrying the traffic lights and pedestrian crossing signals during the construction period. The new metal poles and underground wiring are being installed as part of the widening of the 澳门六合彩开奖预测 road portion of the main intersection.
Why is the entrance moving?
The new entrance will provide 澳门六合彩开奖预测 with access to University owned property behind Huron, allowing for future growth. The construction will also provide Huron with an updated entrance to 澳门六合彩开奖预测 Road.

Week of October 27
New asphalt work to the right turn lane from the Springett lot to 澳门六合彩开奖预测 Road will commence on Monday, Oct. 27 at 8am and complete Tuesday, Oct. 28 by 3pm.
Service Interruption
Motorists can expect delays exiting onto 澳门六合彩开奖预测 Road from the Springett lot. On Monday and Tuesday, the left turn lane will be used for both right and left turns. See map for other lot locations on campus;
