Antirequisites
Antirequisites are listed in the under course descriptions. It is important not to take antirequisite courses as you can’t receive academic credit for courses with similar content. You need to be especially careful with courses such as HS 3801B (if you haven’t completed it yet), as it’s considered an antirequisite to all other statistics courses at the 2000 level or above.
Note: When there is an anti-requisite listed, you cannot take that course instead of the Health Sciences course.
Degree Requirements
It is important to be sure you have completed all the essay courses and for your degree. You have already all completed your Category ‘A’ (first year health sciences courses) and ‘C’ (first year Biology courses) but you may still need your Category ‘B’ which is 1.0 course credits and/or your 2.0 essay courses (of which 1.0 must be at the 2000-level or higher but which does not necessarily need to be in Health Studies).
Health Sciences 2244
Because Health Sciences 2244 is Cross-listed with Gender, Sexuality and Women’s Studies 2244, students in Health Sciences modules can use Health Sciences 2244 as a course towards their breadth requirements for graduation.
