Research In Profile
Professor Peters’ research interests are broadly in the neural control of human movement. Projects incorporate mobile brain/body imaging methods primarily using EEG and fNIRS, together with EMG and IMUs, to increase our understanding of the neural mechanisms that support naturalistic locomotion. Ultimately, the goal is to apply findings to individuals after stroke to optimize mobility recovery.
