The Zoological Collections
The Zoological Collections contain thousands of animal specimens of many major taxa including Arthropoda (representing nearly all of the insect orders, with an emphasis on Lepidoptera; Arachnida; Crustacea), Mollusca (shells of mostly marine species, some freshwater and terrestrial), Echinodermata, and Vertebrata (e.g., whole, mounted skeletons of various taxa; parts of skeletons, e.g. skulls; taxidermy of Aves, Mammalia). |
