Greenhouses
Approximately 650 m2 of Biology Department greenhouses adjoin the B&G Building. The greenhouses are divided into teaching and research complexes.
The Tropical House is the largest greenhouse in the teaching complex. It contains the main plant display area and is open for visitors, Tuesday through Thursday from 1:00 - 4:00 pm.A short circular path leads visitors past various labeled specimen plants and small seating areas. Please be sure to sign the visitor book! We would request that groups larger than six (6) individuals, including those seeking an Outreach event, to please contact the Greenhouse in advance to ensure the best possible experience.
