Theatre Studies

Courses in the Theatre Studies program are delivered by award-winning teachers who are also active researchers specializing in a variety of sub-disciplines including Renaissance Drama, Performance Studies, Dramaturgy, European Performance Traditions, Indigenous Performance Traditions, Canadian Theatre, Québecois Theatre, Postcolonial Theatre, and Contemporary Women’s Performance.

Students can expect a healthy mix of classroom learning through field trips, small lectures and seminar classes. Students also have the opportunity to study theatre abroad through our popular Destination Theatre course and learn onsite with renowned theatre coaches at Stratford Festival.
