澳门六合彩开奖预测 Science offers current undergraduate students the option to book collaborative meeting spaces on the second floor of the North Campus Building.

The two collaborative workspaces are available during the Fall/Winter academic semesters and can be reserved from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Monday-Friday. These rooms are locked and are to only be opened to those who have followed the online booking procedure and have met the eligibility requirements.

Eligibility

We have two collaborative workspaces available to Undergraduate Students – Faculty of Science, including those students in the basic Medical Sciences program, to use for groupwork. Collaborative workspaces and equipment may be booked at any time within the current semester for a maximum of two hours per group, per day, up to a maximum occupancy of 4-8 students at once. Only Undergraduate Students – Faculty of Science, including those students in the basic Medical Sciences program, can book rooms NCB 210 and NCB 220 for collaborative groupwork.

Room Use Policy

By submitting your booking request, you and your fellow groupmates adhere to the following room booking policy:

  • Students and visitors are responsible for the collaborative workspace, workspace equipment, and furniture while using the collaborative workspace. Students are expected to provide their own laptop for use in the workspace as computers are not available. Collaborative workspaces are equipped with wireless internet access, TV, HDMI cables and a whiteboard.
  • No food will be allowed in the workspace.
  • Noise is to be at a respectable level when using the space.
  • All students using the workspace are to be listed on the room booking request form. Those who are not listed on the submitted form will not be able to enter the space.
  • After use, the workspace must be returned to the state in which it was found. Any damage to, or theft of, room equipment or furniture will result in fees, which will be the responsibility of the students.
  • The group's privilege to use the space will be revoked for 4 months if they are found violating these terms.

Procedures

Collaborative workspaces are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.

Booking requests are to be submitted online through .

Please note the following:

  • Each group may book a room for a maximum of two hours, with a maximum of two bookings per week.
  • Collaborative workspaces can be booked two weeks in advance, and up to one day before the day of use. Note that booking requests cannot be made for the same day.
  • Cancellations are to be made two days in advance. Cancellations made with less than one day’s notice, or “no-shows” will receive a warning. If it happens more than once in a year, privileges will be revoked for four months.
  • For late arrival, the group will need to leave at the end of their regularly scheduled time slot.

Check-In

  • Students are to use the main entrance (NCB 200) and must report to the main reception area prior to entering the collaborative workspace.

Check-Out

  • It is the responsibility of the students to tidy up the collaborative workspace prior to leaving.
  • To check-out, students are to return to the main reception An inspection of the room will be completed prior to students leaving.
