Internally Funded Fellowships and Awards
Faculty of Arts and Humanities
Graduate Thesis Research Awards Funds (Research Services) (amount varies) Funds for this award are provided jointly by the Office of the Vice-President (Research & International Relations) and individual faculties. The purpose of this program is to help support costs of research undertaken by graduate students at The University of 澳门六合彩开奖预测 Ontario that are directly related to the successful completion of their thesis/dissertation. Faculty of Arts and Humanities Alumni Graduate Awards (amount varies)
Awarded to graduate students registered in the School of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies (SGPS) and enrolled in any graduate program in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities. These Fellowships will be awarded to graduate students in order to cover expenses incurred as a result of a need to consult archival material off campus, or to otherwise travel in the context of their research. Candidates must have maintained a minimum A- average and exhibit research ability or potential. Selection will be made by the Dean of Arts and Humanities in consultation with the graduate Chairs in all Arts and Humanities Departments. Deadline: January
Mary ROUTLEDGE Fellowships (amount varies)
Awarded to full-time graduate students registered in the School of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies (SGPS) and enrolled in a graduate program in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities who can demonstrate financial need and are maintaining a minimum 80% average. Recipients will be selected by the Dean of Arts upon consultation with a committee. Deadline: January
Lynne Lionel SCOTT Scholarship (amount varies)
Awarded to full-time graduate students registered in the School of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies (SGPS) and enrolled in a graduate program in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities with a demonstrated interest in Canadian studies and a minimum average of 78% average. Doctoral candidates have priority, but Masters candidates are also eligible. The Scholarship will be used to support research in Canadian arts, culture, literatures, language, or philosophy. Recipients will be selected by the Dean of Arts upon consultation with a committee. Deadline: January
Gender, Sexuality, and Women's Studies Research and Travel Fund for Graduate Students
These funds will be awarded to graduate students in order to cover expenses incurred as a result of a need to consult archival material off campus, to otherwise travel in the context of their research, or to attend a conference. Funds are limited and not all requests can be fully funded. There are two internal application deadlines for GSWS Discretionary Travel Fund – October 15th and March 15th. Please send the complete application form including a conference program/conference acceptance of your paper (if relevant) and a full budget including documentation for travel, accommodation and registration fees, to the Grad Chair, and copy the Grad Admin. Costs such as gas may be estimated. Please note that in order to be reimbursed, receipts for all expenses are required to be submitted via the online expense report within ten days of your travel return. Instructions will be shared once the application is approved. Deadlines: October 15th and March 15th.
GSWS Graduate Scholarship for Academic Excellence ($1000)
Awarded annually to a graduate student in or entering a Master's or Doctoral program in Gender, Sexuality, and Women's Studies based on academic achievement and research merit. The recipient will be selected by the awards selection committee in the Department of Gender, Sexuality, and Women's Studies, of which at least one representative will hold membership in the School of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies.
