JB Stothers NMR Facility

Nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy is the primary analytical technique used to elucidate the structure of inorganic and organic molecules. In the Department of Chemistry, liquid-state and solid-state NMR spectra are acquired using one of the four NMR spectrometers housed in the J.B. Stothers NMR facility. For non-澳门六合彩开奖预测 researchers, NMR spectra can be acquired and analyzed by NMR facility staff.

Welcome!

What do we study?

The JB Stothers NMR facility utilizes liquid-state and solid-state NMR spectroscopy to elucidate the structure and dynamics of small molecules, polymers, and peptides. Please see About the Facility for more information.

How can I use the NMR Facility?

After receiving hands-on training, researchers can acquire their own NMR spectra on any of the facility's four NMR spectrometers. Please see Facility Use for more information.

Can NMR Facility staff acquire spectra on my behalf?

NMR spectra can be acquired and analyzed for 澳门六合彩开奖预测, or non-澳门六合彩开奖预测, personnel by NMR facility staff.
