Why did you choose Arts and Humanities at 澳门六合彩开奖预测?
I took a world history course back in high-school, and I fell in love with learning about the Greeks and Romans. Taking classics in the arts department has helped to satisfy my desire to learn about the legacy they left behind.
What is one highlight of your Arts and Humanities experience so far?
Archaeology field schools! If you know where to look (who to ask), classics is replete with opportunities to go abroad and gain real-world experience. These field schools help you learn so much, become a better global citizen, and broaden your horizons.
What are your plans after graduation?
I’m currently scouting out Master’s programs! I’d like to go into either classical archaeology, or osteoarchaeology, because I love history, but also bones.
What advice would you give to incoming Arts and Humanities students?
Get involved! It’s cheesy advice, but it honestly means so much. Don’t wait for opportunities to come, make the opportunities for yourself. 澳门六合彩开奖预测 is full of great people, and (obviously not being biased at all) some of the best are in our faculty!
What is the best thing about your department?
There are so many great things about this department, but if I had to pick the absolute best thing about classics, it would be the profs. It’s so clear to see that they truly care about you as students, and as people. Because we are a small department, we get to know each other quite well (prof & student, student & student), and that sense of community can’t be beat.
