What Plants Crave: Practicum class of 2014

The exhibition What Plants Crave represents the yearlong artistic explorations of the Studio Arts Practicum class of 2014. Throughout the year Practicum has generated an environment that advances individual practice through collective support and experimentation. What Plants Crave combines works of sensual materiality, acts of protest and activism, the unease and seduction of commodification and investigations of identity. The exhibition is accompanied by a self-published colour publication tracing the conceptual and aesthetic engagements of the participating artists.
