Gerald McMaster is a Plains Cree from Red Pheasant, Saskatchewan, who, for the past thirty years, has worked as a visual artist, curator, and scholar. He was deputy assistant director for cultural resources at the Smithsonian's National Museum of the American Indian, Washington, and Curator of Canadian Art at the AGO.
Moe Clark is a Métis spoken word artist who fuses her understanding of performance narrative with traditions of circle singing and spoken word. Following her debut album ‘Circle of She: Story & Song’ (April ’08) she toured Canada, Brazil and Belgium.
Dolleen Manning is an Ojibwe Anishinaabe interdisciplinary artist, scholar, and emerging curator. She curated ‘Gashka’oode: Tangled,’ an exhibition presented by Forest City Gallery and ‘Indigeneity, Art and Philosophy’ and a panel discussion co-presented by Museum London and FCG (2013)
Parking
The Department of Visual Arts will be providing free parking in Lot A - Kent Lot (parking in front of University College). Guests can enter off of Lambton Drive, and let the parking attendant know the name of the event to be let in free of charge.
