REPORT OF THE NOMINATING COMMITTEE

FOR ACTION

Senate Committee on Academic Policy and Awards (SCAPA)

Composition: Includes ten members elected by Senate, including

• one graduate and one undergraduate student
• at least five additional members of Senate
• at least one faculty member from each of the Faculties of Arts, Graduate Studies, Science, and Social Science
• no more than one of the members of faculty may be a Dean

[Note: The USC Vice-President Education and the Vice-President Academic of SOGS are included in the ex officio membership of SCAPA.]

Required: Two students: one graduate student to replace R. Telfer, who will be attending SCAPA in an ex officio capacity as Vice-President Academic of SOGS and one undergraduate student to replace D. Braun who has resigned (terms to December 31, 2000).
