Background:

At its retreat held on March 7, 2000, SUPAD approved a recommendation for an ADF grant competition to support projects totalling a maximum of $7,500. This allocation from the ADF budget will provide funding opportunities for worthy, but less costly proposals presently excluded under the ADF Terms of Reference. The ADF funding recommendations approved by SCUP at its meeting of March 13, 2000, included a provision for a Small Grant Competition.

The Small Grant Competition will follow the existing Terms of Reference for the Academic Development Fund (Appendix 3), including an application process using the standard application form.
