FOR ACTION
In accordance with Appointments Procedures, Section L (Deans of Faculties other than Graduate Studies), a selection committee for the Dean of Law shall consist of:
(a) The Provost & Vice-President (Academic), who shall be Chair
(b) The Vice-President (Research)
(c) 5 persons elected by the Council of the Faculty concerned
(d) 3 persons elected by Senate who are not faculty, staff or students of the Faculty concerned, and only one of whom may
be a Dean
Required: Three persons who are not faculty, staff or students of the Faculty of Law, only one of whom may be a Dean.
Nominees:

Alan Weedon (Dean/GS)
Composition: Nine current members of Senate, at least one of whom shall be a student. The Vice-Chair of Senate is the Chair ex officio of this Committee.

Continuing to November 1999: A. Prabhakar (Undergrad.), D. Taub (Undergrad.), P. Deane (Arts), K. McQuillan (SS)
Continuing to November 2000: C. Callaghan (Admin. Staff), D. Jorgensen (SS), J. Nicholas (SS), K. Okruhlik (Arts), D. Rosner (SS).
Required: One member of Senate to replace P. Deane who will be attending meetings in his ex officio capacity as Chair of the Nominating Committee (term to November 1999).
Nominee: Elizabeth Skarakis-Doyle (HS)
Composition: Includes three persons elected by the Senate, one of whom shall be a student who does not live in a residence of the Constituent University.
