New ON tornadoes: July 28
A number of more complicated events took extra time to analyze, and some events were found after systematic scanning of satellite imagery. These next 11 tornadoes in Ontario occurred with 3 separate storm systems. The first of these is below.
NTP investigation has resulted in the confirmation of an EF1 supercell tornado on the afternoon of July 28 within the boundary of Algonquin Park.

Description: Satellite imagery review of a storm track of interest revealed a tornado damage path through forested areas south of Kiosk in Algonquin Provincial Park. Damage assessed as EF1 tornado, with an estimated max. wind speed of 145 km/h, track length of 11.7 km and max. path width of 430 m. Tornado motion was from the WSW (approx. 255 degrees). Start time is radar estimated.
