FHS students expand global health perspectives through international experiences

Students participated in the Global Skills Opportunity program, enhancing their understanding of equity and diversity in health care during a summer visit to St. Mary’s Mission Hospital in Kenya. Fourth-year health sciences student Michele Wong explored diabetes research at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, gaining insights into a new medical system. Meanwhile, second-year nursing student Yu Xin (Steve) Xia returned to Singapore to study at the National University of Singapore, reconnecting with the culture and forging global connections.
