Chemistry Research Excellence Award 2024
The Research Awards Committee is delighted to announce that Prof. Yining Huang has been selected as the 2024 recipient of the Chemistry Research Excellence Award.
Yining has demonstrated an exceptional research track record throughout his career, and especially in the past 5 years. Yining is a global expert on porous materials and especially the application of solid-state NMR (SSNMR) spectroscopy to elucidate structure-property relationships of both zeolites and MOFs. In the past 5 years, his group has produced 26 papers, including several in top-tier journals such as JACS, Angew. Chem. and Chem Cell Press. Yining has delivered many invited presentations, including at the Rocky Mountain Conference, the preeminent conference for SSNMR. Yining was recently selected for a Distinguished Guest Professorship at the University of Science and Technology in Beijing.
Prof Huang will deliver a Departmental seminar on his research advances on Feb 14, 2024.
